Mother's Day Classic Darwin 2025
The Mother's Day Classic (MDC) fun run is a very important fundraiser for breast and ovarian cancer. In a first for us, we were engaged to deliver the event in 2025 at Darwin's East Point Reserve.
Working with the Darwin committee and the MDC head office in Victoria, Bask Event Management organised the route logistics, officals and course marshalls, signage, stakeholder notifications and traffic management and developed the event plans - operational, risk and emergency.
The event encompasses a 5km run, 5km walk and 2km walk, supported by a colourful Village atmosphere at the finish line which includes food vendors, children's entertainment and smoothies!
